After repeatedly breaking the E string on my uke with mando tuning, I took a jeweler's file to the bridge mount where the string anchors. That's where it keeps breaking, so I hope I got the rough edge knocked down.
I'm currently learning the rhythm part that I wrote for the ukulele. It's pretty gymnastic for my fingers yet, but I should be able to get it down well enough by next week. Fortunately the mando part is a lot easier, so I shouldn't take too long to learn it.
That's for my original song. There's a holiday song that I want to record next week as well, but I've only written out the arrangement for the verse and chorus parts - no bridges or grooves or anything else. And of course I haven't started to learn it yet. Ah well, I have until the end of November really.
