The only thing that can make any disaster more horrific is Aaron Neville's cat-strangling, weak-ass warbling.

Yeah, but it wouldn't be emotionally involved if it was just the real people, without the pop song. Don't you know anything?

Wouldn't rap have been more emotionally gripping though? The compassion of, say, Eminem could really highlight the suffering.

All the rappers were on the other telethon -- the one on BET.

I guess if Aaron Neville was on NBC, the brothers told him no. :-)

Were they going to offer Aaron Neville up as a sacrifice to appease the Angry Vengeful Gods? Now that would have made it almost worth listening to...
